Evangelist, author, and one of the twentieth century's foremost historians of spiritual awakening. Across a lifetime of travel and research he chronicled how God has revived His church across the centuries and around the world.
His conviction, worked out over decades of study, was simple and unrelenting: that no great awakening has ever begun apart from united, extraordinary prayer.
